The Brewsters arrived in Beverly Hills with plans to construct a new house on the empty lot they’d acquired, specifically requesting that the Clampetts remain unaware. However, the Clampetts themselves were preparing for a return to the Hills. Upon hearing their intentions, Drysdale inadvertently revealed the Brewsters' secret. He then informed Brewster of his actions, explaining he’d done so to safeguard the Clampett oil account and, as a consequence, felt compelled to pay them a visit.
