Ellie summoned Dr. Martin from the zoo to examine her ailing dog, Duke. However, when a bug repellent salesman named Jim Gardner arrived, Granny mistook him for the veterinarian. Convinced he was not a “Critter Doctor” at all, but rather a “Bug Doctor” come to peddle "bug vittles," she welcomed him warmly. It wasn’t until Dr. Martin finally appeared that Granny realized her error and found herself quite charmed by the real veterinarian.
