Mr. Drysdale’s ambition to whisk the Clampetts out for a deep-sea fishing trip was briefly derailed by Granny’s pronounced aversion to boats; however, he quickly adjusted his plans and took them instead to Marineland. Mistaking the large enclosures for expansive fishing spots, Granny eagerly declared her intention to “catch the whale.”
