Synopsis

Mrs. Drysdale suggested Elly for admission to an exclusive finishing school, believing such refinement would embarrass her and discourage the Clampetts’ presence; however, Miss Hathaway instead persuaded the other students that Elly represented a new style sensation. Subsequently, Elly, under the impression the Fenwicks were impoverished, extended an invitation for them to visit.
