Rollo and Lamont were the managers of The Three Degrees, a singing group hailing from Philadelphia. They were staying at the Sanford house, preparing for an upcoming talent show at the Safari Club. Fred initially disapproved of the whole affair, but his opinion shifted upon meeting the three alluring women. Later, at the Safari Club, Lamont was taken aback by the arrival of Fred and his companions, who promptly began to disrupt the performances with their boisterous heckling.
