The endless nights of sleeplessness with the newborn were draining Lucy, so the Ricardos engaged a maid. Alas, this new hire proved a bitter and demanding woman, seemingly prioritizing her own comfort above the needs of Lucy or the apartment itself. Unable to summon the courage to dismiss her, Lucy retaliated by systematically destroying the apartment, a desperate hope that the chaos would force the maid's departure.
