Synopsis

Each time her jokes fall flat or she’s passed over for a game of bridge, Lucy settles into the conviction that she is somehow less than others. Observing her distress, Ricky seeks counsel from a psychiatrist—a word he mispronounces with a playful, drawn-out cadence. He hopes to find a cure for her unhappiness, but the doctor's proposed solution proves unexpectedly unconventional.
