Synopsis

The Ricardos sold their used washing machine to the Mertzes for thirty-five dollars. The following day, however, it broke down, and the Mertzes immediately sought to rescind the agreement. A dispute arose when a repairman offered them fifty dollars for the defunct appliance, and they then demanded its return.
