Synopsis

Lucy felt a growing distance between them, a sense that Ricky’s affection was reserved for the child they were expecting rather than for her. The thoughtful gifts – delicate bonnets and brightly colored rattles – only seemed to highlight this feeling. Yet, when he coaxed her into a night out, a flicker of doubt crossed her mind: perhaps his interest in the baby had eclipsed his interest in her.
