Synopsis

The Ricardos and the Mertzes, weary of their settled lives, each steal a week of respite from their marriages. Yet, despite their efforts to provoke envy in one another – a final, desperate gambit – they all discover a deeper longing for the familiar comfort of their partners, concluding that even a predictable life is preferable to absence.
