Synopsis

Nienke’s journey through England and Wales culminates in Cornwall, a county where life is inextricably linked to the sea. She begins in the tiny fishing village of Cadgwith, then journeys to Newquay, the birthplace of British surfing. In Falmouth, a bustling port town, Nienke finds herself immersed in the Sea Shanty Festival, a celebration entirely devoted to the traditional songs of the sea.
