Synopsis

Chris journeys through the northern reaches of Morocco, a region frequently bypassed despite being the ancestral homeland for nearly eighty percent of Moroccan people of Dutch descent. They consider it the most beautiful part of the country. To reach it, Chris takes the train, traveling from Amsterdam through Madrid to Tarifa, a kitesurfing haven. From there, he catches the ferry to Tangier. In this surprising Moroccan city, Chris participates in Eid el Fitr, also known as Suikerfeest.
