Synopsis

Nienke presses onward through England and Wales, drawn to Manchester, the city that ignited the Industrial Revolution. She explores sites pivotal to its rise, before continuing her journey into Wales. In the Eryri National Park, better known as Snowdonia, she finds lodging in an unexpected setting: a former mine, four hundred metres beneath the earth's surface. From there, she travels to Bardsey, a diminutive island nestled just off the Welsh coast.
