Even though I’m not familiar with the Five Nights at Freddy’s video games, I found the film to be quite enjoyable. The performances were strong and the appearance of the animatronic characters was impressive; however, the plot didn’t manage to feel particularly frightening, although it did have a dark tone.

It was great to finally see the FNAF movie after such a long wait—eight years, in fact—and it really lived up to what I’d hoped for in an adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s. If there's one thing I would have changed, it would be to include more scenes with blood.

It’s hard to express how excited I've been about this film—I waited over eight years for it, and it really did give me what I wanted. The few things that would have improved the experience were more scares and a slightly higher level of gore; otherwise, it was fantastic. My rating is admittedly influenced by my lifelong love of this series, but I’ve been a fan since childhood!
