It's an enjoyable fantasy adventure film that has a lively screenplay and feels welcoming to people familiar with D&D as well as those, such as myself, who aren’t really acquainted with it. I also appreciated the actors; Chris Pine brought his characteristic charm and he had good chemistry with Michelle Rodriguez. The pacing did slow down somewhat in the center portion but the ending was satisfying. 3.5/5
