Synopsis
Grandma insisted on an apology from General Grant regarding the raid on the Culpepper plantation. Colonel Blake was keen for Jethro to join the army reserve, but only after he’d completed a written examination. Once Jethro had taken the oath, he observed General Grant and Colonel Blake in conversation. He overheard General Grant mention his intention to attack the plantation once more. Jethro relayed this information to Grandma, who promptly went and shot him from his horse again!
