Dusting and tidying, Fred inadvertently sent Lamont's collection of glass figurines crashing to the floor. Desperate to conceal his clumsiness, he fabricated a tale of a home invasion, detailing a fierce struggle with intruders. The narrative earned him the admiration of those present, and Fred readily basked in the glow of their praise.
