Synopsis

Finally, Kenshin confronts Aoshi Shinomori, leader of the Oniwabans. In the waning days of the Bakumatsu, the battle-hungry Oniwabans found their purpose dissolved after surrendering their castle without a fight. Aoshi is consumed by this shame and now relentlessly pursues the title of the strongest warrior. Kenshin, a former Revolutionary himself, cannot abide conflict devoid of honor. Two men who once defined themselves by the act of killing meet, each staking their pride on the outcome.
