Weary of the surface world’s incursions into his domain, Aquaman, king of Atlantis, finds himself in conflict with the Justice League. To mediate the escalating tension, the League dispatches him to New York City, following Superman's counsel, to address the World Assembly. However, Aquaman soon discovers that his distrust of humanity may be justified.
