Lucy believed her marriage to Ricky was somehow incomplete, a legal formality marred by a misspelling of his name on their license. She envisioned a renewal of their vows, a return to the very spot in Connecticut where he had first asked her to marry him. The journey, however, was cut short by an empty gas tank, leaving them stranded and their plans stalled.
