Lucy found Ricky's new moustache deeply displeasing. A desire for retribution sparked within her, leading her to affix a false moustache and beard to her own face. Soon after, Ricky conceded to shaving his off, on the condition that Lucy remove hers. But the adhesive held firm; her attempts to dislodge the fake facial hair proved futile. They then sought a specialized solvent to dissolve the glue, only to discover it had long since fallen out of production.
