It shouldn’t have been possible to blend action, adventure, fantasy, romance, comedy and horror together—certainly not in a fresh take on Universal Monsters—but the 1999 _The Mummy_ is so enjoyable that it succeeds remarkably well. The film earns high praise for its ability to juggle all those elements. Final rating:★★★½ - I definitely suggest you find some time to watch it.
