There’s a great deal happening within _Red Planet_, yet it feels completely out of control. Virtually none of the performers seem right for their roles; Carrie-Ann Moss is perhaps an exception, though she's largely sidelined and doesn't function as a true character for almost all of the film's duration. Final rating: ★★ - It contained elements I enjoyed, but ultimately it was not well executed.
