This film presents itself as dealing with a new global structure, involving five distinct groups. It wasn’t bad, but the story mainly focuses on just two of these factions. I kept wondering about the remaining three; it would have been better to see all five and understand their origins and lifestyles. It appears another movie resembling The Hunger Games was made simply because it’s financially advantageous to do so. The plot is predictable and rather dull, filled with standard action sequences, a romantic subplot, and those jarring "what the heck?" moments. I'd suggest skipping this entire series altogether.
