It wasn’t a bad film, though there were quite a few moments that felt corny and weren’t to my taste. What I enjoyed most were the dance sequences and the romantic plotline. It seems like it held up reasonably well considering when it was made.

It’s a rather uncomplicated movie; the storyline feels almost secondary, existing mainly to provide opportunities for dancing, and it doesn't delve very deeply into the themes of gender or social standing that it brings up. Nevertheless, it has a certain charm, and my own experiences as a bisexual person lead me to enjoy it regardless.
