It’s definitely a memorable film. I can’t believe it took me this long to write about it, especially considering how often I watched it as a kid because my mom loved it so much. It’s better late than never! *'Dirty Dancing'* is enjoyable – admittedly cheesy, but still enjoyable. A really great soundtrack helps things along, and it all builds up to the famous scene with *(I've Had) The Time of My Life.* The movie moves quickly through its 100-minute length and has fantastic chemistry between Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, both of whom deliver solid performances. Jerry Orbach is good as well (though I might be thinking of Jonathan Hyde!). As you’d imagine, the dance sequences are all really well done. I haven't seen the 2004 prequel, *'Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights'*, but I plan to eventually. I’m not expecting a lot, though – we’ll see how it turns out.
