I wasn’t crazy about it, yet it turned out alright and things easily could have been much worse. Usually, I avoid movies like this entirely, but Patrick Swayze's passing and how much I liked 'Point Break' lately made me want to view another of his better parts ('Ghost' and 'Road House' will need to wait for now, I suppose.). When I had my first job playing music, working the late shift at K-102 FM in Woodstock when I was a kid, people would frequently call requesting any of the three popular songs from its fantastic soundtrack that brought back memories: Eric Carmen’s 'Hungry Eyes', Swayze's own 'She's Like the Wind' or Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes’ Oscar-winning 'The Time of My Life'. It was neat to see, nearly thirty years later, the music I used to play on the radio so long ago now appearing in a movie. It was acceptable to watch as an appreciation for Swayze's abilities (he had training in traditional ballet along with acting) but I don’t have any desire to view either the next installment or a new version of it, unless Tammy would like it as a present.
