The movie isn't offensively bad, but stripping away all the promotion reveals its simplicity: essentially a collection of action sequences without much substance. The storytelling feels abbreviated, sacrificing character development for a fairly standard narrative. It's hard to elaborate further, but this is a solid continuation of the story, potentially even delivering more suspenseful moments than its predecessor.
