Synopsis

Lady Alyce Marshmorton at Tottney Castle is expected to marry, and everyone is betting on who she'll choose. Her planned trip to London to meet a potential husband is canceled because of a rebellious act. Albert, a castle employee and Alyce’s friend, sees a chance. He bets on a mysterious person called 'Mr. X' and asks Jerry, a resourceful acquaintance, for help.
