Synopsis

For a quarter of a century, John and later his daughter Emma had owned and operated the thirty-one-room hotel. Over time, however, it accumulated an excess of trinkets, and the needs of their clientele seemed to fade from their focus. Recently, reservations have dwindled, and adding to their difficulties, John’s wife Jacquie – who had long been the heart of the hotel – was recently obliged to retire due to illness, leaving Emma to manage the establishment alone.
