In the Andalusian village of Torrox Pueblo, near Malaga, Alex Polizzi finds herself at La Casa Hotel, a place struggling with a dismal 25 percent occupancy rate. Faced with no easy option of returning home, sisters Sarah and Karen are determined to salvage their business. However, dwindling tourism and the economic downturn of 2012 have left them burdened by debt, presenting Alex with a considerable challenge in restoring their fortunes.
