Having struck an oil agreement with Jed and O.K. Oil, the Sheik formed a friendship with the Clampetts, generously gifting Jed with four dancing girls as wives. He also expressed a desire to take the lovely Elly May into his harem. Jed, feeling overwhelmed, attempted to return the women, while Jethro, having sold his cousin, sought to indulge in the pleasures of the Sheik’s lavish lifestyle – particularly the company of those same beautiful dancers.
