Synopsis

One of Indian cinema's most acclaimed and versatile actors, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, joins UNI Cards Presents Shekhar Suman for a raw, inspiring, and deeply honest conversation on Shekhar Tonite. He recalls the sheer self-belief that carried him through a mere 40-second role in Sarfarosh, opens up about years of struggle and self-doubt after being told he "wasn't good looking," and shares the pivotal moment director Anurag Kashyap told him, "I want Nawaz, not Al Pacino" — reshaping his approach to acting forever. From iconic roles like Faisal Khan and Dashrath Manjhi to performing alongside his daughter, Nawazuddin reflects on craft, failure, and what real success means.
