Synopsis

The genius behind the music of Uri: The Surgical Strike and blockbuster franchise Dhurandhar, composer Shashwat Sachdev, joins Shekhar Suman for a deeply moving and inspiring conversation. He talks about training under his guru Ustad Ramzan Khan, the incredible sacrifices made by his parents, his sister (who gave up her own singing career for him), and his wife after their move to Mumbai in 2017 — and opens up about the journey behind some of Bollywood's biggest soundtracks. Before the interview, Shekhar Suman opens the show with his sharpest satire yet — taking aim at the Delhi student protests, Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, and the government's viral reel culture. A perfect blend of biting political comedy and heartfelt musical conversation, only on Shekhar Tonite!
