Synopsis
Maria and Luis prepared for their hike, packing backpacks, water bottles, and trail mix. Big Bird and Snuffy were particularly thrilled, as this was their first hiking experience. Maria described the invigorating exercise and the wealth of fascinating sights to be discovered along the trail. Their progress was slow, however, as they frequently paused to examine details they'd never before observed: the texture of a tree's bark, the hues of a stone, and even a spider that seemed to be tap-dancing
