Lamont has gathered Julio and Rollo, along with a third companion, for a poker game, a pastime that has finally worn thin for Fred. Just then, an old acquaintance of Fred's, Al Banks – a gambler by trade – calls at the door. His arrival sparks an idea in Fred’s mind, a plan to offer Lamont and his friends a lesson they won’t soon forget. Unfortunately, the scheme unravels, and Al departs with the entire pot.
