It’s difficult to know where to begin regarding this... but I'll refrain from elaborating, because the essence of Resident Evil can be conveyed quite straightforwardly. The filmmakers managed admirably to substitute frightening creatures and horror elements with a focus on emotionally charged adolescent drama. That pretty much encapsulates just how deeply flawed this politically correct reimagining is.

I've always enjoyed the Resident Evil movies and games, so naturally, I was looking forward to this new television adaptation.
