Natsume found an abandoned egg nestled in a forgotten nest, unaware of its potential nature. Upon hatching, it revealed itself to be a rare infant spirit named Tatsumi, who instinctively regarded Natsume as a parent. The kind-hearted Natsume found himself drawn to the little spirit, his affection deepening even as Tatsumi weakened with illness. But their fragile bond is threatened by the arrival of a shadowy spirit, one tasked with claiming Tatsumi for a master who desires to consume him.
