Higgins offered Magnum’s expertise to safeguard a pampered dog belonging to a prominent socialite, the animal having been the target of a recent kidnapping attempt. Soon, Sir Algernon Farnsworth, the dog himself, became the most sought-after canine in Hawaii, as his former owner, the aging gangster Victor DiGiorgio, sought his return.
