A woman has engaged Magnum to embody the elaborate fantasies of her affluent, listless sister. These scenarios are inspired by the hardboiled detective stories of 1930s Dashiell Hammett. While Magnum finds himself increasingly drawn to this world of make-believe, he struggles to keep pace with the woman's whimsical demands. Upon learning that her husband is a wealthy, notoriously jealous, and easily angered businessman, Magnum resolves to terminate their agreement.
