Synopsis

Laverne began by recounting to Shirley how a driver had abruptly cut her off, prompting her to shout an insult – “banana face” – from her car window. Later, Laverne’s usual wrestling partner from the brewery was sidelined with an injury, forcing Shirley to step into the ring in his place. Once they were inside, however, they realized their opponents were the very women Laverne had insulted earlier that morning, and the match suddenly felt intensely personal.
