Synopsis

Conductor Ryder Bond's life is shadowed by a series of inexplicable deaths. In each instance, the victims are consumed by flames of unnatural intensity. As Kolchak delves into the case, he discovers that Frankie Markoff, a devoted admirer of Bond, had recently perished in a penny arcade. The procession carrying Markoff's remains passed Bond’s vehicle, an event that allowed the deceased’s spirit to coalesce into a disturbing imitation of the conductor himself, intent on usurping his existence.
