Synopsis

James set foot on Honshu's main island, drawn to the scenic beauty of Tohoku. There, he sought inspiration in a mountain expedition and a spontaneous swim with a kindly wandering monk. His journey took unexpected turns: he found himself battling colossal robots, then embracing the life of a samurai. A surprising adoption by a popular J-Pop group followed, though an ill-advised attempt at charm aboard the world's most opulent train resulted in considerable embarrassment for himself and his hosts.
