It’s unusual to find Korean series featuring a smart and resourceful main character who isn't simply defined by her relationship with a male lead, and Inspector Koo stands out as one such gem. The show presents mysteries involving crime and killings, along with some elements of geek culture. I certainly hope they decide to produce another season; it was quite entertaining.

The show’s aesthetic is something I genuinely enjoyed, but the storyline felt like it gave up too much in pursuit of its intended dark humor. There were definitely some powerful scenes where the comedic aspects worked well, however, the extended twelve-episode pursuit became tiresome and didn't come across very skillfully.
