The show’s aesthetic is something I genuinely enjoyed, but the storyline felt like it gave up too much in pursuit of its intended dark humor. There were definitely some powerful scenes where the comedic aspects worked well, however, the extended twelve-episode pursuit became tiresome and didn't come across very skillfully. On the positive side, the soundtrack choices were quite good and enhanced the show’s visual style. I think it would have been better suited as a film; that format might have served its purpose more effectively. It does seem like this drama reflects Lee Young Ae’s periods of time away from acting.
