This show is really good so far. It’s cool seeing all the various kinds of supernatural beings, and it seems like the main character might be a unique type—one that’s meant to go after those other creatures.

This is exactly the sort of program my dad (may he rest) would have enjoyed, and so would young me—for very similar reasons. The show succeeded in creating a believable setting, one with considerable depth. As a kid, I would have been completely absorbed by it, just as my father was later in life.
