Synopsis

A celebrated painter, having turned his back on society, Dubov arrived at the island – naturally accompanied by a short-wave radio. The castaways greeted him with hopeful anticipation, believing he would share his means of communication. They quickly realized, however, that Dubov harbored no desire to return to civilization himself. Faced with this impasse, they devised a plan to sway him, attempting to stir his interest by feigning that Gilligan possessed an extraordinary artistic talent.
