The earlier installments were good, but this show doesn't resemble them anymore. By season five, only two initial cast members remain, which seems like an incredibly shortsighted decision. The newer additions to the ensemble are underdeveloped and predictable, and the quality of the storytelling has declined as well. It’s devolved into something akin to a teen drama. I'm finished with it.

I’ve managed to watch everything now, and I hate that it might be over. I really want season 5 to continue beyond that. It provides a lot of enjoyment, and it’s visually stunning—and I'm not just talking about how gorgeous the camera work is. Each installment keeps me completely engrossed.

This feels more like a daytime drama, only set against a backdrop of spaceships and costumes. And because it’s an Apple production, visually it has that very clean, almost commercial look—like something you'd see in a Benetton campaign. It really isn’t for me.
