Mauro and Valeria located Pablo the "Gitano’s" refuge, but with Mauro in custody, he managed to escape with a hostage. It wasn't until a protracted pursuit that the police finally apprehended the fugitive. Vito Tonnara was in Rome, and Scalise learned of his location. Meanwhile, Ingargiola compelled Vittoria’s criminal boyfriend to leave her alone; she was desperate. Giovanna realized she had become a specific target for Vito Tonnara, who sought her death as vengeance for his son's demise.
