Synopsis

Tom, the parish curate, invited Trixie to spend the day at a cricket match. She accepted readily, though the chosen date proved unfortunate. Meanwhile, Shelagh resolved to speak with Dr. Turner about the possibility of adoption. Elsewhere, Patsy, finding the unpredictable and often chaotic nature of midwifery a considerable challenge, inadvertently upset a young mother at the clinic.
